Pembroke College Law Society

About PCLS

Pembroke College Law Society is the law society for everyone, whether you read law or not: we just want interested people! The society itself offers a range of events from talks to careers events and mooting oppurtunities. To find out more about our upcoming events just browse around our site and if you have any queries then feel free to email any committee members.

What we can offer you

We hold a range of talks on a broad spectrum of law related topics given by experienced legal professionals. Talks are held in Pembroke College.

An intrinsic part of any society is the community that comes with it. We host socials every term to have some fun and so that everyone can get to know each other.

A heavy thought on most of our minds is "What will I do once I graduate?". We want to help make this less of a concern and so will be hosting careers events throughout the year.

There is no substitute for actual experience when it comes to any field of study. Mooting is a fun and informative way to gain an insight into practical law.
